Responsibilities of this role:

  • Triaging incoming safeguarding referrals and conducting initial risk assessments to determine appropriate levels of intervention.
  • Gathering and analysing information from partner agencies including health, education, police, and early help services.
  • Applying local threshold guidance to assess concerns and identify suitable pathways, including statutory intervention, early help, or signposting.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR and safeguarding protocols.
  • Providing safeguarding advice and consultation to professionals across agencies to support consistent and effective practice.
  • Participating in multi-agency strategy discussions and contributing to coordinated safeguarding responses.
  • Ensuring timely and proportionate responses to concerns, prioritising the safety and welfare of children and young people.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
