Essential criteria:

We are looking for an experienced social worker to provide cover until new ASYEs can commence later in 2024.

The role and responsibilities align with those for permanent staff in children’s social work, as described at Children’s Social Work Matters.

The position involves working with children and families under Child in Need plans, Child Protection Plans, or through pre-proceedings and court proceedings, within one of Rotherham’s locality teams. The average caseload as of 10.05.24 is 17.8 children, with a stable team environment.
