Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Care & Learning Team in Birmingham. This role is pivotal in supporting children and families within our community, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver high-quality social care services, including assessments, care plans, and maintaining case records.

Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification and registration.
• Experience in children’s social work, preferably in care and learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans to support welfare and development.
• Maintain accurate case records in line with legal and organisational standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
• Provide support and guidance to families to empower positive changes.
• Participate in court proceedings and provide expert testimony as required.
