Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking an Experienced Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work teams rated Outstanding by Ofsted. You will assess needs, plan and review complex care packages, ensuring the voice of the child is central to every plan.

You will benefit from strong supervision, monthly learning sessions, funded PQ modules, and opportunities for career progression. A relocation package and generous leave are also available.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with current registration
• Experience in safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to mentor staff and student placements
• Understanding of Signs of Safety approach

Responsibilities

• Assess social care needs and plan reviews for complex cases
• Lead on care packages from start to finish for children and families
• Provide supervision and support to less experienced staff and students
• Engage with carers to ensure the voice of the child is central
