Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children's Social Worker to join its client’s Referral and Assessment team, based in Peterborough. The role involves receiving referrals, conducting initial risk assessments, and deciding on subsequent interventions under relevant child protection sections.

The post requires Social Work England registration, UK work eligibility, a full UK driving licence, and post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration is required.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.
• Post-qualified experience is desirable.
• Reference to DBS and compliance service is provided.

Responsabilités

• Receive and screen referrals from professionals, families, or the public.
• Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.
• Decide on whether cases need further intervention under Section 17 or Section 47.
• Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.
• Liaise with police, schools, health services and other agencies to gather information.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for action.
