Children’s Social Work, MASH Team Early Help Worker, Bury

Pay rate £20.09 per hour
Contract role, MASH Team

Working Arrangements
  • Hybrid – up to 2 days working from home per week, subject to service needs
Key Responsibilities
  • Screen and triage incoming requests for support to the MASSH.
  • Gather and analyse information from a range of partner agencies.
  • Use the history and lived experiences of children and families to inform decision‑making.
  • Recognise indicators of risk and elevate concerns appropriately in line with safeguarding procedures.
  • Formulate clear, evidence‑based recommendations in line with Bury’s threshold guidance.
  • Produce in‑depth and timely assessments that reflect the needs and strengths of families.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Early Help and how it supports children and families.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate decision‑making.
  • Contribute to a multi‑agency approach to safeguarding and early intervention.

    • Ability to produce high‑quality assessments and recommendations that support positive outcomes.
