Children’s Safeguarding Social Worker, Swindon

Archer Resourcing has an exciting new opportunity for a Children’s Safeguarding Social Worker in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Progress long-term care planning, including pathway planning and assisting young people with their transition to adulthood.
  2. Collaborate with others to safeguard vulnerable individuals and promote their best interests.
  3. Assess the needs of children.
  4. Engage in court work under the Children Act 1989 & 2004.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Social Work/Diploma in Social Work/CQSW, or equivalent, approved by SWE. Not newly qualified.
  2. Knowledge of safeguarding, statutory frameworks, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  3. High levels of determination, organizational skills, personal drive, energy, and ambition to meet challenging targets and improve outcomes.
  4. Strong assessment and case management skills.
  5. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment under tight deadlines.
  6. Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months, preferably on the update service. Fast-track options available.
