We have a fantastic new job opportunity at Erewash PCN. We're hiring a Children's Safeguarding Care Coordinator.
In this role, you will coordinate care for vulnerable families, which will significantly reduce the admin workload for our practices and GPs. You'll also strengthen connections across our practices and improve our regulatory compliance.
As our Children's Safeguarding Care Coordinator, you will provide essential safeguarding support throughout all our practices. This means collaborating closely with clinicians, practice support staff, and external agencies. It's a diverse and challenging role, so you'll need excellent people skills and organisational abilities. You will manage sensitive and confidential information daily, so integrity is crucial.
Erewash Health Partnership (EHP) was established on 1 April 2018 and is a single GP Partnership comprising eight constituent practices. EHP employs approximately 250 people who work within the eight constituent practices and within the EHP central team, which provides support services (e.g., finance, operational, data & performance).
As well as providing high quality core primary care services, EHP is the prime provider for delivering services to Erewash Primary Care Network (EPCN), as well as operating its own services for EHP Partners.
To provide children's safeguarding support across the practices, you will be working closely with clinicians, practice support staff and external agencies. This is a varied and demanding role requiring the job holder to possess first-class interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information on a day-to-day basis and will demonstrate the highest level of integrity.
The aim of this post is to improve coordination of care for vulnerable families in Erewash, reduce administrative burden on practices and GPs, strengthen connections between practices and improve regulatory compliance.
You will work as part of a small team linking into the wider General Practice Safeguarding lead GPs.

At all times the post holder is to behave in a professional way that encourages quality care, the development of a team spirit and fosters continual improvement across the PCN.

£22,950 to £25,700 a year. Dependent on experience
