Job summary

The Cambian Group is seeking Residential Team Leaders to provide compassionate leadership for children and young people in our care homes. Applicants should be 21+ years old, have a driving license, and at least six months’ experience in children’s residential care.

The role includes planning rotas, supporting managers, and ensuring Ofsted-aligned care practices daily. Sleep-in shifts carry £30 per sleep-in with potential yearly earnings.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years due to Ofsted regulations.
• Driving is essential due to locations of the homes.
• At least six months’ experience in Children’s residential care.

Responsibilities

• Meet the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations.
• Plan team rotas and support the Deputy and Home Manager in meetings and appointments.
• Assist the Registered Manager/Deputy in implementing the Statement of Purpose.
• Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager.
• Welcome a diverse culture in the home.
• Create a safe, family environment for the children.
