Job Description Residential Support Worker

Overview:

  • We require resilient Support workers for a new 3-bed home in Scarisbrick. Ideal candidates will work alongside our management team.
  • Preferable but not essential that the successful candidate holds a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Children's Residential.
  • We have full-time hours available; experience is desirable but not essential.
  • We offer competitive rates of pay and pay for sleep-in duties at £60.00 per night, per shift.
  • Due to the rural location, a driving license is desired.
  • Applicants must be aged 21+.

Duties include:

  • Taking point on shift and leading by example.
  • Delegating duties fairly amongst staff.
  • Training up new members of staff.
  • Participating in on-call rota and taking out-of-hours calls when required.
  • Ensuring daily reports, health and safety checks, and care plans are completed and up to date.
  • Assisting with the support and ensuring the adult's needs are always met.
  • Assisting with supervisions and appraisals.
