Job description

Job Title: Children`s Residential Support Worker
Location: Wiltshire
Pay Rate:

Days: £12.21- £17.25 per hour (PAYE)
Nights: £12.21- £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
Sleep-in: £60.00 per sleep-in
Employment Type: Temporary | Full-Time & Part-Time options available
Shift Patterns: Day, Weekend & Night Shifts
160 hours per month flexible to the needs of the home. It will include shifts and sleep ins. 10am till 11pm and sleep in, or 8am till 10pm and go home. Will be a mix, days can be worked together so you may do 2 days on at a time then get a big break off.

About the Role

Meridian Business Support is currently seeking Residential Support Workers for our client, a provider of high-quality Supported Accommodation Services across the UK.
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting young people in various aspects of daily life within our homes, including:

  1. Encouraging hobbies, social activities, and friendships while helping young people learn new skills.
  2. Assisting with morning routines, ensuring they are prepared for school with a good breakfast.
  3. Preparing evening meals and creating a safe, relaxing space within the home.
  4. Supporting young people in reaching their potential and exploring new opportunities.
What We're Looking For

Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce.
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
Experience with Children: Whether in care, education, or another setting, your passion and energy are what matter most.
Enthusiasm & Resilience: A positive attitude and the ability to handle challenges effectively.
