DegreeSix is a specialist agency working solely with Residential & Supported Living services for Young People aged 6 and above in some of the top private Social Care providers in the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire area.

This role is an agency, 0-hour support worker role offering flexibility to pick and choose shifts among various companies. Unfortunately, we do not offer guaranteed work.

We are looking for support workers with the knowledge, compassion, patience, and understanding to support, enrich, and promote the independence of vulnerable Young People.

• Emotional and Challenging Behaviours (EBD)
• Learning Disabilities (LD) & Autism
• Mental Health (MH) – Self-harm & Suicide risk among others

Role responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive living environment by managing domestic tasks
• Following care plans and safeguarding practices
• Engaging in fun and educational activities to develop interests and hobbies
• Organizing day trips such as theme parks, seaside visits, and parks
• Promoting independence and providing emotional support

Requirements to join DegreeSix:
