We're looking for a Residential Support Worker to join a warm and welcoming children's home in Aylesbury. Responsibilities
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with children aged 8-17
  • Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development
  • Promoting independence and life skills through daily routines and activities
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of each child
  • Working collaboratively with a team and external professionals
  • Participating in activities, school runs, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Completing daily logs and contributing to care plans
  • Taking part in sleep-in shifts and occasional weekend work
What We\'re Looking For
  • Experience working with children or young people (residential care ideal, but not essential)
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it - full funding provided)
