You will be working within the Swansea area in a children and young people's residential service. It is an ambitious organisation that supports young people in need of therapeutic support as a result of trauma in their lives. The organisation can currently support 6 children between the ages of 8 and 18 across 2 homes. Their aim is to prevent the cycles of abuse and broken relationships that young people have experienced and enable young people to form positive relationships and build a positive sense of self and self-identity.
In the role of Residential Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking the statutory requirements for children’s care homes in line with RISCA Regulations. It will be expected that you deliver high-quality care home services to provide positive outcomes for children within the organisation's care. You will be responsible for the effective running of the residential home. You will be expected to lead a team of staff and be available to provide support and guidance. You will also be required to undertake direct work with children in the residential home when necessary.
