Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council’s Eastgate Children’s Home in Sleaford is seeking a Children’s Residential Practitioner (Residential Care Officer Level 1). You will work with children and young people to support their development and prepare them for independent living, in a warm, supportive environment.

No prior care experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. The role includes multidisciplinary work, a generous pension, flexible/hybrid working, 37-hour week, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• No prior professional care experience is required; comprehensive training is provided.
• Caring and Playful demeanour, kindness and compassion, welfare focus, boundary setting.
• Willingness to obtain a QCF qualification in working with children.

Responsibilities

• Work within multidisciplinary teams to meet the needs of children and young people.
• Support children to develop independent living and resilience skills.
