Ideal working days: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (Thursday is essential; some flexibility can be offered for the other days). Preferred structure to be spread across 3 days for optimal service delivery and work-life balance. No weekend working is required as part of this role.

  • Manage a personal caseload while contributing to the wider needs of the paediatric and new-born wards.
  • Opportunities to participate in specialist multidisciplinary clinics, such as DDH (baby hip), orthotic, respiratory, rheumatology and neonatal.
  • Offer guidance and supervision to Band 5 physiotherapists, therapy assistants and student physiotherapists.
  • Collaborate with other professionals across our child health services to continually improve and develop our physiotherapy offering.
  • Work in partnership with children and families to help them understand and manage their own health and wellbeing.
  • This role offers flexibility to meet the needs of both the service and the post holder, making it ideal for those seeking a better balance between their personal and professional lives.
