Join East Anglia's Children's Hospices as a nurse to provide holistic care for young patients in a nurturing environment. This role involves delivering essential nursing care to children with palliative needs, leading shifts, and ensuring high-quality support for families across various settings. East Anglia Children's Hospices have an opportunity for a registered children's, adult or learning disabilities nurse to join our multidisciplined team at The Treehouse Hospice, Ipswich, to further their experience or develop skills working in children's palliative care. Full-time or part-time considered.
The successful applicant will deliver holistic nursing care and support to babies, children and young people with palliative and end of life care needs and their families. Lead and co-ordinate shifts and undertake day-to-day operational duties as required. You will be required to provide care in the hospice, in families' homes and occasionally across our other hospice localities; therefore, a full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential to this role.
Shift Pattern: Our service is provided in a 24/7, 365 day environment; shifts include weekend & bank holidays.
Our standard shift structure is 12 1/2 hour shifts (includes unpaid break):
