We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Children's Occupational Therapy Service in Cambridshire as a Band 4 Children's Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioner. This is a permanent part-time post, working alongside Occupational Therapists (OT’s) at our base at The Peacock Centre, Cambridge, and in a variety of settings including local nurseries, schools and the child's home environment supporting (C&YP) individually and in groups to achieve their OT goals.
The successful candidate will have experience working as a Children's Therapy assistant and be able to support typical caseloads of children with physical and developmental needs. Very good communication, organisation and time management skills are required to support provision of effective interventions.
You will be provided with opportunity to develop your skills and use your creativity to provide Occupational Therapy interventions in line with our service Core offer. You will be provided with a clinical supervisor to support your development and given opportunities for regular feedback with clinicians.
Due to recent changes in UK immigration and visa rules, this role is unlikely to be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants who do not currently have the right to work in the UK may not be considered.
