Job summary

Hachette Children's Group in London invites a talented Designer to join the Non-Fiction team on a full-time, 9-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with editors, the Senior Designer and the Art Director to develop new titles and formats, while designing marketing materials as needed.

The ideal candidate brings strong design sense, a passion for children's books, and a modern approach to illustration and layout. Office-based in London with a 3-days-in-office, 2-days-from-home pattern.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
• Understanding of good design and a passion for children's books.
• Ability to collaborate with editors, the Senior Designer and the Art Director.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with editors, Senior Designer and Art Director to develop new and existing titles.
• Design occasional marketing material and explore formats.
