Vision for Education is looking for a Children's Mental Health Assistant to work in a SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health needs) school setting in Marske-by-the-Sea.

Location: Marske-by-the-Sea

Salary: £85-£95 per day

Start date: September 2025

The School and Role

A specialist school in Marske-by-the-Sea is seeking a Children's Mental Health Assistant to support young people and children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you will be based inside the classroom supporting students within their education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met. You will be responsible for supporting their educational, social, and emotional development.

Requirements
  • Have a caring, supportive, and nurturing personality.
  • Experience working with individuals with social, emotional, or mental health needs.
  • Relevant experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
  • Patience, caring nature, and adaptability to support each young person.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
