Job summary

CPL UK is recruiting an experienced Team Leader for a children’s residential home in Greenford, West London. You will lead shifts, support staff and ensure the home runs safely while focusing on the emotional wellbeing and education of the young people.

We’re seeking candidates with Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it), at least 1 year in residential care, strong safeguarding skills, and a valid DBS. Sleep-in payments and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
• At least 1 year in children's residential care, ideally with some shift leading experience.
• Good safeguarding knowledge and behaviour support understanding.
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply) and the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and make sure the home runs safely and smoothly.
• Support, guide and role model good practice for residential support workers.
• Help young people with their education, independence skills and emotional wellbeing.
• Keep accurate records, daily logs and incident reports.
• Work alongside the management team to meet Ofsted standards.
