A leading childcare organization is looking for a Registered Manager for its children's home near Weymouth. The role requires significant experience in children's residential settings and strong leadership skills to foster a nurturing environment for vulnerable youths. This position promises professional development and support while ensuring high-quality care in a therapeutic setting.
We are looking to appoint a Registered Manager to join our Children’s home just outside of Weymouth, Dorset.
For this home, you will need to be an experienced Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager who can lead, develop, and manage an established team of Residential Child Care Workers.
Our Residential service offers therapeutic homes catering to the children's daily needs. We understand the needs of the children and recognise and support our Children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma. Our integrated model, which is embedded in our culture at Five Rivers, has been developed with our clinical team so we can achieve the best outcomes for our young people.
As a registered manager, you will deliver and execute our brand values, be an integral part of our residential leadership team, and work collaboratively with the Registered managers of our West Country home network, our Clinical Team and Education Services.
You must have at least one year’s experience as a registered manager in a children’s residential setting within the last five years, hold or be working towards your level 5 in leadership and management, and have a minimum of Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Work Force, have a proven track record with Ofsted, Legislative Framework.
Osmington House is for one child aged 6-18 who calls this their home. It is based just outside the glorious town of Weymouth and is easily commutable for neighbouring villages and towns.
Due to the location of the home, you will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
On average, 39 hours a week within the home.
Support
As part of the Registered Manager team, you will receive regular professional support and supervision from our Regional Operations Manager. You will also receive monthly nationwide peer support and clinical backing in the home.
We will support you through your Ofsted registration and future inspections and invest in your development from day one.
You will also receive support from a dedicated HR business partner for any employee relations queries you may encounter in this post.
