Are you a PASSIONATE and AMBITIOUS Children's Home Registered Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to move into a Registered Manager role in an organisation that will support you to grow into the role of Operations Manager with time?

My client, who is already established in the supported living sector, has ambitious growth plans to expand to 5 children's homes in the West Midlands within the next 5 years.

The home, a STUNNING 3-bed Children's EBD home in Coventry, is a blank canvas offering you the opportunity to put your own stamp on it and make the home your own.

Offering autonomy and the chance to make the home yours concerning everything from decor to staff team and referrals, you will have the opportunity to shape the culture, ethos and vision of the company. The Directors are very supportive and want the first manager to move into an operational role within the first couple of years with the business.

My client is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to open the home with the assistance of the RI, Deputy Manager, and full staff team to welcome 3 young people with EBD, before moving on to open home number two and grow with the business into 5 homes.

Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Basic Salary: up to 70,000

Annual bonus of up to 8,000

Location: Coventry, West Midlands

Hours: Full-Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Delivering the highest levels of care and support to the young people through the provision of leadership, direction, and management of the residential children's service's, you will have the children and quality at the heart of your values, and the vision to inspire and support the young people to lead happy and successful lives.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and a proven track record through "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent

  • Experience working within a Children's Home Registered Manager's position for a minimum of 2 years

  • Experience in a residential children's home environment

  • Full UK driving licence
