Children’s Home Registered Manager – Brand New Children’s Home

Location: near Nottingham | Home Type: 4-Bed EBD (Mixed Gender)

Are you ready to lead, inspire, and shape a brand-new children’s home from the ground up?

We’re working in partnership with a trusted residential childcare provider to recruit a passionate and experienced Registered Manager for a newly opening 4-bed EBD home near Nottingham. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to build a service from day one — creating a safe, supportive, and high-quality home for young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the registration process and launch of the home with Ofsted
  • Recruit and develop a skilled, child-centred care team
  • Build a nurturing and structured environment where young people can thrive
  • Foster strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external partners

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in a children's EBD setting
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted standards and residential care regulations
  • NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
  • A confident, compassionate leader ready to create a culture of excellence from the ground up
