We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager (RM) to lead a 1-bed children’s residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role where you can make a direct and lasting impact in a small, highly focused care setting. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the full running of the home, delivering high standards of care and ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
Promote a child-centred, therapeutic approach to care that supports positive outcomes
Manage and support a small team, including recruitment, training, and performance development
Lead on safeguarding practices and ensure all policies and procedures are followed
Maintain strong working relationships with external agencies, professionals, and families
Prepare for and lead on Ofsted inspections
Deliver excellent care planning, risk management, and documentation
Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy with Ofsted exposure
Proven experience working with children and young people with EBD and complex needs
Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and trauma-informed care
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Commitment to achieving high standards and positive outcomes
