A children's care organization in Stoke is looking for a Registered Manager. In this leadership role, you will ensure young people receive tailored care in a nurturing environment. A successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in residential care and a Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care. This position offers a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, a bonus structure, and ample development opportunities.

As a Registered Manager our expectation is that your home will be rated as at least Good by Ofsted
In this 4 bedroom Children's Home you will need to:
Passionate about making the difference to the lives of young people in care.
Relevant Experience: At least 2 years in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
Qualifications: Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential. Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred at point of application, if not then you must be enrolled on the Level 5 within 6 months of starting in post.
Knowledge: Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Skills: Efficient in; planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership.
Communication: Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
Understanding Trauma: Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour.
Driving License: Full UK required.
