Your Role as Care Manager:

  • Responsibility as registered manager in ensuring that compliance within Ofsted regulation and the company’s policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Effectively lead a team in providing a safe, nurturing and responsive approach to meet the needs of the young person.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the young person.
  • Ensure the home meets the individual needs of the young people, as well as the needs of the team in line with the Quality Standards of Children’s Homes regulations.
  • Continuously working towards positive outcomes for the young people.
  • Instrumental in monitoring performance, management of the team and development.
  • Conducting monthly supervisions.
  • Participating in the on-call procedure (nightly and weekend payment additional).

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum 2 years experience working as a registered manager or an experienced Deputy Manager looking to step up.
  • Driving Licence.
  • NVQ Level 3/4 in Children, young people or equivalent.
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
  • Experience of working with children in a residential home.
