Children's Home Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead and manage a new 2-bed Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) residential service. This home offers solo placements with 2:1 care and represents the provider's first venture into children's residential services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the individual needs of the children.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and standards, including Ofsted regulations.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the sustainability of the service.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, families, and other agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement and development of the service to achieve outstanding outcomes for children.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing a children's residential care setting, preferably with EBD specialization.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
