Job description

Are you a Children's Home Manager looking to move into the public sector? This is for you.

I am looking for a Children's Home Manager for a local authority, who are looking to appoint a brand new Registered Manager for their Ofsted registered homes.

You would be in charge of managing 2 x 2 bed homes for young people in the district from traumatic backgrounds, behavioural difficulties and challenged beginnings to life.

The Children's Home Manager role is a permanent full time post paying £45,691 - £53,642 plus all the public sector benefits like enhanced pension scheme, annual salary increases, increasing annual leave.

To be considered for the Children's Home Manager role, you must have:

  • Previous Ofsted Registered Manager experience or extensive Deputy Manager experience (min 3 years) in a children's home
  • QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management
  • Strong knowledge of children's social care legislation, Ofsted, safeguarding
  • Positive personality who is child led in practice
