Job Description

  • Children's Healthcare Assistant
  • Location: Liverpool, L17
  • Pay Rate: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour
  • Shifts: Part Time, Days | Tue 8am to 4pm| Alternative Weekends – 1pm to 6pm

Meet Our Client

A sociable young girl who enjoys being active in her community and loves to spend time with her family, friends, and care team. She has a passion for school and enjoys discovering new arts and crafts activities.

She is unable to communicate verbally and will use various sounds to make her needs known. Therefore, patience and an ability to learn her cues are essential for building trust and providing the care she requires.

You will carry out observations and manage her clinical interventions throughout the day. Your role will also include providing comfort and reassurance to ensure a peaceful and clam environment.

Proven experience working with children within a care setting is essential. Candidates must be able to clearly discuss their previous care experience, specifically with children.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 months’ care experience

  • Full Covid-19 vaccination status required
