Job Description:

Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care to children or do you already have Complex Care experience?

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Blackburn, passionate about delivering high-quality one-to-one care for a young girl, building positive relationships with her and her family, and enabling her to live as independently as possible at home.

We seek individuals with a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our young service user with complex clinical needs.

Meet our service user

Our service user is a bright and energetic young girl living with her loving family in Blackburn, requiring 1:1 support with her complex needs day and night.

She is independent, enjoys interacting with her family and care team, and loves imaginative play, dolls house, make-up, painting nails, and pampering her care team. She enjoys outings to the park and shopping with her mum.

Night support involves observing, attending to clinical needs, personal care, repositioning, and promoting restful sleep. She communicates via gestures, sign language, and Makaton, so familiarity with these methods is essential.

Our service user has specifically requested female staff to work with her.
