Job summary

Superior Healthcare is recruiting experienced complex care assistants to care for a 2-year-old female overnight at home. Complex paediatric care is essential, with a fixed rota and the option of overtime.

Roles include full-time and part-time positions, with full induction and ongoing supervision by nurses and supervisors. We offer paid classroom training on joining, paid induction shifts, and specialist training if clients require extra skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months care experience.
  • Experience supporting paediatric clients.
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Show the client dignity and respect at all times.
  • Refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager for person-centred care.
  • Advocate for the client in line with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • Be friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • Closely observe and document the client’s condition and progress.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for experienced complex care assistants to care for a 2 year old female overnight who lives at home with her family. Complex Paediatric experience is essential.

Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you join our complex care team and will work long-term with one or a small number of clients. You will benefit from a fixed rota with the option of overtime.

We are ideally looking for carers, support workers and healthcare assistants who are keen to work full-time hours however part-time roles are offered.

How we’ll support you

Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us and paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors.

If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you, as a community care assistant, can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.

Shifts
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday (22:00-07:00)

Healthcare Assistant Requirements
  • Previous care experience involving personal care.
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • A minimum commitment of 2x shifts a week.

  • To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
  • To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months care experience
