Looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking Support Workers / Intervenors to join our Intervenor Service in the North London area, primarily working in Watford.

We provide 1:1 support to children and adults with congenital Deafblindness, supporting their personal and social development and encouraging independence through access to activities.

You will receive specialist training on supporting individuals with dual-sensory impairments, often combined with other disabilities. No prior professional care experience is required!

Essential: A full UK driving license and your own vehicle.

We are recruiting for bank/relief Intervenors, with potential for permanent roles based on individual needs. Current available hours are in North London, but may change. Please inquire during your interview about bank/relief opportunities.

Do you enjoy arts and crafts, role play, and dance? We have a young child in need of support for 4 hours per week during weekends and school holidays in the Watford area. Additional hours may be available across Watford and Waltham Cross.

Support might include:
  • Assisting with daily activities led by the individual supported
  • Promoting independent living
  • Supporting access to activities based on sensory needs, communication, and interests
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Community outings for shopping, social activities, etc.
