As a Lifetime Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in our service, working closely with Community Children's Nurses to provide ongoing clinical care to children in their own homes and/or at school.
This role offers flexibility and a dynamic environment around family life, providing an excellent work/life balance. You will have access to training and development opportunities if you wish to pursue a career in nursing, training, or management.
The purpose of this role is to provide care to children with complex, life-limiting health care needs that rely on technology to sustain their health. Support includes overnight care within the family's home, allowing parents to rest.
As a member of the Lifetime service, you will assist registered nurses in delivering care to our service users in the community, contributing to the safe and seamless delivery of holistic care while working safely within your scope of practice and competence.
You will undertake clinical tasks, supporting each child's individual care plans, which may include personal care and managing specialised equipment for a variety of health conditions.
Successful candidates will receive team support to work independently in the community. If you have strong verbal communication skills and the initiative to ensure children and their families have a positive experience, we want to hear from you.
