Children’s Centre Administration Manager based in Birmingham, working across three centres in Handsworth, Small Heath, and Ladywood. Salary: £16 per hour.
This role involves working for a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families, based in children’s centres around North Birmingham. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and is an all-year-round role, initially covering long-term sick leave, starting as soon as possible.
The role is demanding, requiring strong people management skills as you will oversee three children’s centres and manage two small admin teams. Responsibilities include line management, staff training, maintaining up-to-date procedures, managing petty cash, supporting HR processes, ensuring building maintenance, health and safety compliance, and processing financial invoices.
The organization values individuals passionate about working with vulnerable children and families and offers extensive training and development opportunities. Candidates should have experience leading office administrative services, proven people management skills, proficiency with IT systems (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher or similar), resilience, and recent relevant experience with satisfactory references.
