Job description

Children’s Team - Lily’s Place, Poole & Lawford Lodge, Hamworthy

We are seeking a dedicated children’s care worker to join our Children’s Team, providing care to children and young people with disabilities across our two respite homes, Lily’s Place and Lawford Lodge. Our team works tirelessly to help these children and young people build confidence and independence during their time with us. You will have the opportunity to meet and work with a diverse range of characters in this rewarding role.

*Please note: Due to current service demands, we require a FEMALE children’s care worker.*

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Following each individual child or young person’s care plan
  2. Supporting with moving and assisting
  3. Encouraging self-advocacy whenever possible

Essential skills required:

  • Interpersonal skills
  • A person-centred approach to providing care
  • A full UK manual driving licence is desirable but not essential
