Job summary

Witherslack Group is recruiting a Residential Support Worker to help young people in our care build confidence and life skills. You’ll support daily routines, schoolwork, activities and wellbeing, in a warm, supportive team environment.

We offer a base salary of £29,034–£35,400, up to 4 sleep-ins per month paid at £80, a 4-week induction, 7 weeks holiday, and progression opportunities through Aspire. A full UK driving licence is preferred and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Honesty and empathy are essential in supporting young people.
• Resilience to handle challenging situations with care.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months (preferred).
• If lacking Level 3 Diploma, the employer offers study support.

Responsibilities

• Care for young people day to day, supporting routines and wellbeing.
• Help with homework, plan activities and outings with the team.
• Ensure evenings and weekends include positive, engaging activities.
• Complete relevant paperwork and contribute to a positive environment.
