Overview

Job Title: Residential Support Worker Complex Care
Location: L62
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including day, night, and occasional sleep-in shifts)

About the Home

The Home is a purpose-built, single-level residential home supporting up to 5 children with complex medical needs and learning disabilities, from childhood until their 18th birthday. They provide specialist care in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role

We are looking committed, reliable, and mature individuals to join our team. You will provide 1:1 support to children with complex needs, including tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and other medical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the children under supervision for the first 12 weeks until signed off by the nurse.
  • Shadow a nurse or the manager during initial induction.
  • Support children with complex medical needs and learning disabilities.
  • Follow care plans and maintain clear communication with the team.
  • Be a proactive, flexible, and supportive team member.
Rota
  • Week 1: 4 nights, 4 days off
  • Week 2: 4 nights, 3 days off
  • 2 full weekends off per month
  • Night shifts: 8:30pm – 8:00am
  • Day shifts: 7:30am – 9:00pm or late shifts 2:00pm – 9:00pm
