Care Support Worker (Children) - Telford

Position: Part-Time Care Support Worker

Hours: 20 hours per week (additional 15 hours during term holidays)

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Location: Telford

Requirements: Drivers with business insurance, experienced in complex care and neuro-diverse behaviours

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Male Complex Care Support Worker to provide specialist care for two young boys, aged 5 and 7, with neuro-diverse behaviours.

About the Role:
  1. Supporting the children in their daily routines, ensuring their needs are met with a person-centred approach
  2. Encouraging independence, engagement, and development through structured activities
  3. Managing challenging behaviours with patience and expertise
  4. Assisting with personal care, mobility, and sensory needs
  5. Transporting the children safely to activities or appointments (business insurance required)
  6. Working collaboratively with family members and professionals
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in complex care and working with neuro-diverse children
  2. A valid UK driving licence and business insurance
  3. Ability to work flexibly, including additional hours during school holidays
  4. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
  5. Strong communication, patience, and resilience
