The NHS is seeking a Children Community Learning Disability Nurse to join the Children's Learning Disability Team. The role involves providing comprehensive assessments, developing tailored interventions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver safe and child-centered care. Candidates should possess nursing qualifications and experience in behavioral support for children with disabilities.
To work within the Learning Disability Directorate as a member of the Children's Learning Disability Team, which currently sits within the Tameside and Glossop Learning Disability Team.
The post holder will provide specialist health and behaviour assessments to children and young people with a learning disability who are referred to the team.
Interventions will be delivered across different settings, including the person's home. There will be a requirement to liaise and work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to ensure responsive, effective, safe, and child-centered services are delivered.

This position is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A disclosure check will be required through the Disclosure and Barring Service to assess any criminal convictions.
Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro-rata.
