Job summary

Advantage Healthcare is seeking a Children’s Complex Care Assistant to join our team. You’ll receive full training and clinical support to develop skills in tracheostomy, ventilation, and managing our client with autism in their own home.

Previous childcare experience with ventilation and tracheostomy care is required, as is medication experience. We offer maternity/paternity leave, paid annual leave, a refer-a-friend scheme and an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare with ventilation care and tracheostomy care is required.
• Medication experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the client’s home including tracheostomy and ventilation support.
• Support with autism-related needs under clinical supervision and training.

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Children’s Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation and managing our client with Autism in their own home. Our client enjoys riding his bike and watching age appropriate you tube videos. If you can make a difference then this role is for you.
