About The Role

This role involves providing help and support directly to victims and survivors of sexual violence, working within the national ISVA framework to support victims throughout their criminal justice journey or their recovery journey if they haven't reported the incident to the police.

The role requires regular travel across Lancashire and supporting victims at criminal justice hearings. Due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle are essential. If you are unable to drive due to a disability, please mention this in your application so we can consider alternative arrangements.

You will ensure victims and survivors receive ongoing support, advocacy, and impartial advice, including reporting to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pre-trial therapy and sexual violence counselling. Digital literacy skills and comfort presenting via Zoom are required.

Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details.
