Job description

Join Our Team in Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services

Are you interested in working in a team that delivers services to young people facing mental health challenges?

Within Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services in Buckinghamshire, we are looking for motivated Social Workers to join a dedicated team alongside other social workers, occupational therapists, and nurses. Our team is committed to improving services for young people. Whether you are currently working in the NHS, a local authority, or an alternative setting and seeking exposure in a new area, we have a career path for you.

If you are not already working in a CAMHS setting, we offer training and development within our experienced team. This role is based in our Buckinghamshire Young People's Eating Disorder Service, where you will provide high-quality mental health services for children, young people, and their families facing mental health and eating disorder challenges.

While this is a full-time role, we are open to part-time or flexible work patterns. Please contact us with any questions.

This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid over 18 months. Payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable, and subject to a clawback clause. Only external employees of Oxford Health NHS are eligible for this scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based treatment programs for children and young people referred to the Buckinghamshire CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.
  2. Manage an agreed clinical caseload, including key working and therapeutic interventions.
  3. Develop and maintain therapeutic activities tailored to patient needs.
  4. Provide training, supervision, consultation, and support to partner agencies and educational settings, promoting positive mental health and early intervention.
  5. Collaborate with agencies such as Social Care, schools, and other CAMHS teams to meet the needs of young people and develop integrated services.

Applicants must have a full valid driving license and access to a vehicle. Adjustments can be made in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 where necessary.
