A leading organization is seeking a resilient Children and Young Person Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (CYP ISVA) to support young victims of sexual violence in Swindon and Wiltshire. This role involves managing a caseload, providing crisis intervention, and collaborating within a multi-agency framework to ensure safe and accessible services for children and young people. Candidates should possess a valid UK driving license and a commitment to diversity and victim advocacy.
Location: Swindon and Wiltshire
Salary: A GBP 24,956 per annum rising to A GBP 25,350 per annum (on successful completion of probation). After successful completion of ISVA accreditation, rising to A GBP 26,925.

Our client is looking for someone passionate, resilient, and committed to supporting individuals who have reported rape or sexual assault to the police to join their team as a Children and Young Person Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (CYP ISVA).
To work within a multi-agency setting providing proactive crisis intervention to child victims of sexual violence both within and outside the criminal justice system. The post holder will assess risks, support client needs, and develop support plans to ensure victims' safety. The role involves advocacy and partnership working to support victims throughout the criminal justice process, from reporting to court, and facilitating access to entitled services.
The role emphasizes delivering a high-quality, victim-focused, and inclusive service as outlined in the Victim Code of Practice. The post holder will manage a busy caseload, demonstrate excellent partnership skills, and understand Child and Vulnerable People Safeguarding procedures. The role requires proactive collaboration within the ISVA team and respecting community diversity to ensure services are accessible to all. Providing advocacy and information in high-risk situations, maintaining professional records, and prioritizing safety are essential.
