Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate practitioners to provide personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs in community settings beyond traditional classrooms.

You will deliver tailored interventions, build trusting relationships, monitor progress and safeguarding, and collaborate with families, professionals and regional teams to help each learner thrive.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing.
• Experience with SEMH.
• Experience with ADHD.
• Experience with Complex Needs.
• Experience with Challenging Behaviour.
• Understanding of non verbal communication.

Around 90,000 young people across the UK are persistently absent from education each year. At Nudge Education, we support children and young people who are disengaged from education through tailored mentoring and interventions that help them reconnect, rebuild confidence, and thrive.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

You will:

• Complete risk assessments and maintain accurate records
• Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and regional teams

Who We’re Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

We value empathy, resilience, creativity, and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
• Experience supporting young people with SEN and/or SEMH needs

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £19.57 to £28.84 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday–Friday daytime and/or afternoon required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
