Job summary

Nudge Education Limited is seeking compassionate practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs in a community-based setting beyond traditional classrooms.

You will build trusting relationships, monitor progress, complete risk assessments, and work with families and professionals to create safe, engaging learning experiences and ensure consistent support across sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience.
• Experience supporting KS3 students in English and Maths.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Commit to at least three days per week for consistency.
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance before starting.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and adaptable practitioners to deliver personalised 1:1 support to young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.

This is a community-based role, working beyond traditional classrooms to create safe, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

Who We're Looking For

You may come from education, youth work, healthcare, social care, coaching, uniformed services, or other people-focused backgrounds.

We value empathy, resilience, creativity, and the ability to build trust with vulnerable young people.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
• Experience supporting KS3 students with core subjects (English and Maths)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days' availability per week to provide consistency for our young people
• Willingness to obtain business car insurance prior to commencing the role

Practicalities

• Flexible opportunities based on location and student match
• £16-£25 per hour for lead roles, plus agreed expenses
• Monday-Friday daytime availability required
• Consistent availability is essential to provide stability for young people
