North Yorkshire Council in Harrogate is seeking a resilient Children and Families Worker to join the Early Help team. You will complete assessments, deliver interventions, and chair meetings, working with partner agencies to strengthen family support networks across the county.

You should be prepared to travel for family visits, meetings, and may work evenings or weekends as required to support children and families in need.

We have an excellent opportunity for a resilient, and highly motivated individual to join our team of Children & Families Workers in Harrogate Early Help

About the Service

Early Help is part of North Yorkshire Council’s Children & Families Service where we work alongside children, young people aged 0 – 19 (25 years when there is an identified SEND need) and their families.

We are a consent-based service focused on offering “the right support at the right time”. All our work is strength based and underpinned by our ‘Strength in Relationships’ practice model where we work alongside other agencies to ensure we support families to create their own sustainable family plans that make a real difference.

About the role

As a Children and Families Worker you will work directly with children, young people and their families, completing assessments, delivering interventions, attending and chairing meetings, working alongside partner agencies, drawing on families’ strengths and helping to build support networks.
