About the Role

As our Staffing Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, effective staffing across a range of children's services including Children's residential centres, bespoke and emergency placements. You'll lead the recruitment, deployment, and quality assurance of relief staff, ensuring children receive consistent, high-quality care.

This is a county-wide role requiring flexibility, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of child welfare systems. You'll work closely with multi-agency partners, manage budgets, and contribute to the development of our resilient staffing model.

Key Responsibilities

Lead recruitment, induction, training, and deployment of staff across diverse settings.
Coordinate emergency placements and ensure safe staffing aligned with individual risk assessments.
Provide high-quality reports and data to support strategic planning.
Liaise with social work, residential, and early help teams to ensure consistent care.
Champion safer recruitment and workforce development strategies.
Act as a single point of contact for staffing coordination across the county.

Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
