Children’s Advanced Practitioner
Team: Locality

Details:
Barnsley CSC are seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join a busy locality service. The work will entail supporting less experienced workers and working with children and their families under s17 and s47, as well as managing court proceedings work.

Barnsley offers hybrid working arrangements and free on-site parking.

The role involves providing social work services to adults and families, with specific responsibilities for managing more complex cases. This includes assessment and risk management, developing and sharing specialist knowledge within a particular area of practice, and contributing to practice development. The role also involves managing safeguarding cases in line with ‘Making Safeguarding Personal’ and deputising for the Team Manager as required.
