Responsibilities

Within the Care in the Home division, we support children with complex health needs to live at home with their families.

We'd like you to join us as a Children’s Support Worker at our young clients home in Poole.

Meet the Client:

I am 11y years old. I have complex care needs and am non verbal. I need compassionate carers who will take time to get to know me , so that you can more easily read my non verbal communication . Additionally, be quick thinking and proactive to keep me safe at night. I particularly like music and can hum you lots of tunes. Mummy says I am an easy boy, getting to know me is key and if you take time to know me , I really am and your time supporting me will be very rewarding.

When you'll be working:

  • Tuesday nights(9pm-7am)
  • 1 regular night a week, but flexibility to cover Monday nights aswell when the Monday Night Support Worker is off

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support a young boy with complex health needs in his family home overnight. This will involve supporting him with his clinical equipment. Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
